Nurses cottage is a charming traditional little stone cottage, tucked away down one of the narrow village streets in Tissington. It’s the ideal base for couples looking to explore the beauty of the Peak District from a cosy and tranquil retreat. Pets are welcome.

Formerly the premises of the District Nurse, the cottage was fully renovated in 2005, and comprises one double bedroom, a sitting room, kitchen and bath/shower room. Outside, there’s also a small terrace overlooking Chapel Lane, and ample car parking at the rear next to Hoopers Barn. It’s also convenient for our fantastic local shops and amenities.

Recent Customer Feedback

A lovely little cottage which we have passed many times & always wanted to stay. The last Christmas our daughter gave us a weekend here as our present. It’s so beautiful & is ‘just us’. We had everything we needed. We’ll certainly be here again, And look forward to it very much.

Thank you. The cottage is, as always, immaculate and an excellent base forour holiday in the Peaks. The flowers were much appreciated.
