Tissington Hall Opening Dates

Tissington Hall is still the family home to Sir Richard & Lady FitzHerbert, but they are pleased to be opening their doors for guided tours on the following dates:

12.00 – 3.00pm
No pre-booking necessary

Easter Week: 6th – 10th April

May Bank Holiday: 4th & 5th May

During 3 Days of the Well Dressing Festival: 18th- 20th May

May Bank Holiday Week: 25th – 28th May

Summer Opening MONDAY – THURSDAY ONLY: 3rd – 31st August
(CLOSED 13th August)

National Gardens Scheme Open Day: Bank Holiday Monday 31st  August 2014*

*Please note that entrance to the Hall is free for HHA Friends but there is a charge for the gardens for the NGS Charity). Tissington Hall recently celebrated 75 years in the Scheme and a tree is planted in the Arboretum to commemorate that fact.

INVITATION TO VIEW: Personal tours & tea with the Baronet himself!

Back by popular demand, in addition to our public opening dates we are again taking part in the Invitation to View scheme

sirrichardandfionaTake a tour with Sir Richard FitzHerbert around his historic family home. The opportunity to hear about this fascinating property and its rich history from the baronet himself is not to be missed!

Tours last approximately an hour and a half and include tea and cakes in the beautiful book-lined Library.

Tickets £15.00 – advance bookings only
