Tissington Village is open to visitors every day of the year. There is car parking on the Tissington Trail for cyclists and walkers at the eastern edge of the village and there is street parking for visitors to the Hall and village businesses in the centre.
Tissington Hall is only open to the public for 28 days each year. Please study the Hall opening times carefully to avoid disappointment.
Tissington is 5 miles north of the market town of Ashbourne situated to the east of the main A515 Ashbourne to Buxton Road. Access to the village is through the Main Gates (built in 1780) and down the picturesque lime avenue that was planted in 1971 by Sir John FitzHerbert, the eighth Baronet.
