When are the Well Dressings at Tissington?
Well Dressings at Tissington traditionally start on Ascension Day and the wells are dressed for 7 days. The event starts with a Church Service at St Mary’s on Ascension Day itself (the Thursday) at 11.00am with a guest preacher.

How do I know when the Hall is open?
Tissington Hall is open for 28 days per annum. The dates are published on this website or can be obtained by calling 01335 352200. Group tours are available throughout the year.
How many can tour the Hall in a group ?
Groups and Societies are welcome to tour Tissington Hall throughout the year. There is a minimum charge but groups should be from a minimum of 15 to a maximum of 50. Larger groups can be accommodated (such as large touring car rallies) and all enquiries should be addressed to the Estate Office.
How do I rent a property in Tissington?
Tissington Estate has 50 or so properties that can be rented off the Estate. These range from two and three bedroomed cottages to small barns and small office units. All enquiries should be addressed to the Estate Office in the first instance.
What are the opening hours of The Old Coachhouse Tearooms?
The award winning Tearooms are open EVERY day from 1st March to the end of October. Winter opening hours are published every year. The Tearoom is open from 10.30-5.00pm offering coffee, lunches and afternoon teas. Call 01335 350501 for further information.
If I’m interested in weddings or events at Tissington do I need to make an appointment to view the Hall?
Yes, we ask that you call our Wedding and Events Co-Ordinator Phoebe Skeen Smith on 01335 352200 or 07544 466 864 to arrange a viewing.
Are the Hall and gardens wheelchair accessible?
The upper floor of the Hall is not wheelchair accessible, but disabled guests can view the Main Hall and the gardens.
