As one of the few remaining privately-owned villages left in the UK, Tissington provides the perfect venue for filming. With no road markings, street lighting or external noise it has proved popular for historical filming. Over 2,500 acres of farmland and stone cottages are available for use, along with St. Mary's Church, The Old Coach House Tearooms, the village duck pond and ford.
